Dans le Cœur vert du Luxembourg
Messio Gjeoresse

The once bright blueberry sky that shined upon the lively park is now completely consumed by the ashes growing rapidly caused by the monsters we once saw as people

In 20 years, I will be 38
And the park will have changed for the worst
The blooming flowers will be gone
The chippering birds will have found other places
There will be buildings built
For cultural events but no nature to be appreciated anymore.

At the moment, Kinnekswiss is an open, green space full of flowers, birds and squirrels feeling at home. But it slowly gets taken over by human influence. New paths expand, trees get enclosed, more and more plastic and slowly everything is covered in stone and concrete and the home of plants and animals disappears.

What pollution and climate change can do to beautiful things. Kinnekswiss park has changed a lot in 20 years. The grass is dry, the trees look weak, and there are fewer birds. The air smells of smoke and trash is everywhere. Street signs are broken and the fountain no longer works. Few people come, now only a homeless person sits quietly in the corner, cars pass by but no one stops. The park feels sad and forgotten, full of lost memories.
