15 June, 16h: Plants, Ants and Climate Justice – Géisskan’s Poetry Slam
Location: LUGA's Culture Hub at Villa Vauban
The Géisskan Poetry Slam Collective invites you to a poetry slam on the country’s most popular patch of grass! Six local slam poets battle with words about bees, trees, and rebellious ants. The audience decides the winner. Join us and experience live spoken word artistry!
15-30 June: “Whispers of the Grass” — Discover Kinnekswiss through the lens of others
Location: Kinnekswiss and the Parc Municipal
Next time you’re out for a stroll at the municipal park, take some time to scan the QR codes that you’ll find in the park. Read and listen to how other people experience the same patch of grass you’re now walking on. Via QR codes, the collection of poems and stories created during the workshops is accessible for everyone.
27 June, 20h: Bad Taste Slam
Location: Rotondes Open Air
Who’s the baddest of them all? After last year’s mild success, the Géisskan Kollektiv is back to bore you some more! Dad jokes, bad puns, or just complete dadaism, everything is welcome on this stage. The audience will boo the looser – or winner, depending on how you look at it – of the evening.
29 June, 16:30h: Leaves, Lines & Leaping Moves – Poetry meets contemporary dance
Location: LUGA's Culture Hub at Villa Vauban
Get ready for an open-air experience blending live poetry reading and sound art with contemporary dance. Live readings blend with field recordings and beats, while dancers move between words and rhythms, giving the park’s voices a new physical form.

Choreographer Nora Noush joins the Géisskan collective to merge live poetry with sound art and movement. Rooted in hip hop and contemporary dance, Nora transforms words, rhythms, and silences into powerful gestures. The choreography is inspired by texts and recordings from the Pop-Up Poetry Lab, thus brings the voice of Kinnekswiss to the stage at the Culture Hub. Join us for a boundary-crossing performance, converting the park into poetry, music and movement.
