The Lycée Poetry Slam League is an initiative for students aged 16 to 20 in
Luxembourgish secondary schools which introduces them to the art of creative
writing and spoken word. Through three thematically interconnected workshops –
Introduction, Writing, and Performance – the young participants discover language
as a creative tool of expression and the stage as a place for exchange and personal
development. Students are free to express themselves in the language of their choice
(Luxembourgish, German, French, or English).

After the workshops, each participating school organizes an internal slam competition in which students present their texts in front of an audience. The winners then compete in a large national final. The “best” Lycée is crowned, and outstanding talents have the opportunity to qualify for the “Slampionship – the Luxembourg National Poetry Slam Championships” and international competitions.
